Why was the tv show 'revolution' cancelled?

The show could have survived if they would have stuck with the whole "How would society really look if the power went out?" The militias. The territories. The gangs. Etc. That's what we signed on for. When they started focusing on the nano tech/little green lights I felt ripped off. They could revive the show if they focused upon the first five years after the power went out. THAT would be a good show.

Because it was awful. it was the worst show i have seen since terra nova.it was too kiddish and gimpy. That is why it ended.

Bad ratings was the main reason.

I think they should have a better way to cancel a show that has made it into it's 2nd season like they did with life on mars it was a stupid ending but it did wrap up the show and bring it to a end instead of letting everyone who stuck with it hang. I'm done watching new shows for a year or two and then left wondering how the were supposed to end. I'll wait till they are done or at least run for a long time. If it's a good series netflix's will pick it up and then I'll start watching it. If everyone did this it would really screw up there rating system.

Ratings were really awful for the 2nd season.

Nothing against those that like it. But i just couldn't get into that show. I watched the first few episodes of the first season and stopped.

Ratings. It premiered with around 14 million viewers. By the end it barely had 4 million. The show was awful and lost hundreds of thousands of viewers every episode. The fact that it got a second season at all is fairly amazing given how bad it was and how much it was savaged by critics and viewers.

Well.

It was originally only ever intended to be two seasons. They would tell a confined story and leave it at that.

After the first season someone decided to commission a third season because they thought it would last, but ratings for season two were so incredibly poor (like the show was) that the just cancelled the whole thing.

Just finished watching season 2 and it said that was the end. So I looked online and it said it had been cancelled and there wasn't going to be a third season.

I mean did it have a bad rating. There were just too many unanswered questions and it could have easily been made into a third season
