My first recommendation is Breaking Bad, if you haven't already seen it. It is one of the best shows to ever be on television, in my opinion. It is very suspenseful and you can't wait for the next episode. It would be my first choice to watch.
House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, both of which are Netflix originals, are great shows. Both of them have kept me coming back to watch them. They are both very different, with one about a woman surviving in prison and the other about United States politics.
American Horror Story is also pretty good. Each season is a miniseries with about 13 episodes, so Season 1 and Season 2 are two totally different stories with different characters and plot.
Once Upon A Time is alright. It's not my favorite show, but it is good nonetheless.
