Trayvon would have been found guilty of Murder 2 easily, since Zimmerman didn't commit a crime when he was following. Trayvon would have ZERO evidence for a self defense since you can't match following with killing. And from the legal standpoint, if it could have been self defense that ends after the first time he bashes Zimmerman's head in the concrete. Malice for Murder 2 due to the excessive punches, concrete blows, and anything more they found.
It all hinges on whether Martin could prove self defense. And considering that Zimmerman was the one that started the confrontation, I think Martin would have had a pretty good case.
Martin was also under 18, so there would be a chance if there were any charges they would be made against him as a juvenile not as an adult. This means even if it was found guilty of something, he would have no criminal record once he turned 18.
I do not believe this would have been such a big media event. In my city since the verdict , we heard a 911 call played on the news. . Somebody called to report that a group of young Afro American men were chasing down a lone Hispanic man . The Afro American men had a pistol and yelled this is for Trayvon. In Baltimore for a long time Afro American thugs targeted Asians especially Koreans. We lost many Koreans to this racial hatred and now for several years here, it has turned toward Latinos.We can not give anybody a pass because of their race. Afro Americans can be very prejudiced toward other groups as well. We just had an event here where the same kind of thugs were throwing rocks at a police officer's house. This continued until the officer gave chase , caught one of the young thugs and put him in a choke hold. The thug died . There was a trial and the police officer was let off. Both were African American. This did not make world news. The thug had a record and was wrong in his actions. I wish he had lived , but he picked the wrong person to full with.

Can't say because it didn't happen. I might ask what if Zimmerman stayed in his car, or what if he told Martin he was neighborhood watch and Martin being not from the community he was just asking why he was here because of the recent robberies and Martin replied he was visiting and gave the ladies name and address, then maybe nothing happens at all. There are what-ifs all over the internet right now and the answer is who knows?
If Trayvon Profiled Zimmerman got out his car with a loaded gun and followed zimmerman which caused an altercation to take place and Trayvon ended up dead that would make Trayvon the aggressor and Zimmerman would have every right to stand his ground BUT it didn't happen that way did it ?

Most likely would be charged with manslaughter and tried as a juvenile. And we never would have heard about it.

I'm not trying to open a can of worms... in the battle between Mr. Martin and Zimmerman, the news reports that Mr. Martin was trying to grab the gun out of Zimmerman's gun holster and stated, "I'm going to kill you, M** F**'er!" How would this case be different if Mr. Martin would have succeeded and shot the armed neighborhood watchman?
Would Mr. Martin be charged with murder, manslaughter, or got away scott free?
