The act alone, regardless of who and how, required a conspiracy. A group working together, conspiring to cause damage.
Wether or not it was a self inflicted wound is hard to say. The "official story" is definitely not the whole truth. There were far too many actions that showed forknowlege, and a perfect storm absence of normal response to hijacked planes.
Unfortunately there was also a lot of very bad reporting going on that day.
Given the history of people carrying out other staged events to get us into wars, I'd say there is a high probability the entire event was planned by a domestic group with members in high offices.
It's an interesting thing to think about. Whether it was an inside job or not is impossible to ever truly know for sure. Much of the so called "evidence" is barely evidence and is mostly either made up or distorted truth. I honestly don't think it was a planned inside job, and if the United States Government really wanted to invade the Middle East the U.S Government could have found other means to do so without so much collateral damage. I can't give you the answer you're looking for, and neither can anyone on this site. It is really up to you to choose whether or not you believe in the conspiracy theory, after objectively looking at all sides of the evidence. Most people who look into this kind of stuff usually trail off and find other conspiracy theories. I would suggest look at all sides of a theory and see if the 'evidence' totally stacks up against all forms of questions.
Of course it was a conspiracy. Osama bin Laden and Khalid Sheik Mohammed conspired to recruit 19 terrorists to hijack four commercial airliners and fly them into buildings that were symbols of American political, economic and military power in order to achieve their political goals.
In any investigation the accepted hypothesis becomes the one that is supported by ALL of the available evidence with the least un-proven assumptions. In the case of 9/11 the generally accepted hypothesis is the one outlined above. There are people who use the internet to further their own political goals by posting Youtube video's that try to get you to doubt this generally accepted hypothesis. They do this by carefully cherry-picking and quite-mining their evidence to present a very narrow picture of what they say happened. The missing foundation of all these claims though is that they do not publish "a complete alternative hypothesis that fits all the evidence". In fact, they go out of their way to distract the viewer from huge amounts of evidence that disproves their case. They are trying to scam you essentially. Don't trust them.
Whatever hit the Pentagon was not an airplane. That buildings has the most surveillance in the world, but the government will only show one poor quality video from a mile away. And if you watch the actual hit slowly, anyone can see that whatever did hit the building, didn't have a rudder, the tall upright fin in the back. I've heard ALOT about the 9/11 attacks, and I've seen many videos about it as well. I've also been informed about the past how the U.S enraged many from the Middle East in a way, but as well I'm concerned about if 9/11 was a inside job or not. I really don't think that America itself would do that to its own country, that got us in this economic crisis, but I want to find out the truth. NO it was not a conspiracy YES it really was a genuine attack by terrorists. I saw it on the tv. I cant say any more as I have answered this dozens of times.
