I loved it for the most part, seasons 7 and 8 were a bit disappointing at times but season 9 made up for that in my opinion. There are good storylines, lots of drama, and great music throughout the shows run. The show One Tree Hill is going to give you betrayal, tragedy, love, heartbreak, a great villain, scandal, murder, a stalker, success, disappointment, marriage, death, and in a television rarity there is a time jump of 4 years in between seasons 4-5. It's a good show and is worth watching, it will obviously take a lot of commitment to watch it though as there are 9 seasons with 187 episodes total. If you don't know much about the show you can read my little synopsis about what the series is about at least early in the show..........
One Tree Hill is essentially about the relationship between two brothers. The series opens with them being enemies, they barely even know each other actually. They share the same father but have different mothers. Dan, the boys father, is married to Deb who is Nathan's mother. Nathan is the star of the school basketball team and has enjoyed a privileged lifestyle. Lucas' mother is Karen, she owns a local café and they have no relationship with Dan at all. Dan has not helped them financially and Lucas has had a harder upbringing than Nathan but in retrospect a better upbringing. Lucas is a very good basketball player as well but he doesn't play on the school team like Nathan. He only plays at the park with his friends. Very early into the show Lucas joins the school team and clashes big time with Nathan. Lucas becomes popular after joining the team. Lucas is interested in Nathan's girlfriend Peyton, Nathan treats Peyton horribly. Nathan becomes interested in Lucas' best friend Haley and that causes problems. Other than the characters I have mentioned there are a few more main characters. Brooke Davis, Peyton's best friend, becomes interested in Lucas after he joins the team and they begin dating. However a love triangle begins between Lucas, Peyton and Brooke, that causes problems. A fellow classmate Jake is raising his baby daughter almost by himself. Mouth is Lucas' friend, he loves basketball but not playing but announcing the games. He is a good guy, a bit shy.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.
I rarely actually get into shows to the point where I need to watch the next episode or I'll be thinking about it all day, but this happened to me in this case.
I also love it because the main cast remains the main cast throughout the entire series even though it was originally based on the school; I hate when shows introduce a new cast. But like actually....it's good.
Other shows I watch include Vampire Diaries, PLL, etc (that's what I'm interested in)
Also, unlike other shows that run on predictable and repetitive story lines, this doesn't really.
ITS GOOD. :D

Its really good. Its starts out slow and shallow (s1) but picks up quickly. Then changes course(s5-don't like this season). Then changes course again(s7-arrival of 2 new characters). and ends in rushed format(s9 was only 13 eps long-most of which I don't like. with the exception of 11-13).
It really is worth a try.
The characters are loveable.
Its got great love.
Also, quirky humor.
