I think Ross was good (I mean ROSSCHEL!), but personally i like Phoebe or Monica. Chandler is the funniest, but my favorite relationship was Phoebe and Joeys relationship, i shipped like mad!!!
another vote for the worst, i hate how he shouts to enunciate
it doesnt make him funny, it just enhances how annoying he is
there was no one character who stood out
they complimented and bounced off each other, i think thats why the dynamic worked
I always found Joey to be the best out of all the characters because he was funny and did some stupid stuff on the show and he never took himself seriously.
He starts of a bit emo and annoying in the earlier seasons, but as the show progressed he really got funnier and more likeable and by the end of the show was the only character that wasn't tired and still bringing in the laughs when Chandler had dried up, Joey was unbelievably stupid, Monica was too OTT and Pheobe was like an Alien from another planet.
Rachel and Ross seemed to be the only two character to gradually progress without becoming an unbelievable ott version of themselves.
Chandler who had been the funniest in the early seasons lost " it" when he hooked up wtih monica.
Monica became more shrill and OCd as the show went on and became annoying, except " fat Monica"
Joey got more stupid as the show went on to the point he became unbelievable.
Rachel actually pretty much had the best gradual growth on the show without becoming a Caricature
Pheobe was just crap right from the start, so unbelievable in what she did and said and got worse.
