There are mild sexual themes (kissing, bare skin with no nudity) and mild cursing. The books were made deliberately to be confronting to a young audience; so there is a student that gets involved with a teacher, a lesbian relationship and of course, stalking. There is some themes of horror too (again, stalking, death, blackmail).

Honestly though, I think you would be ok. I was fine with my younger sister watching it and the books are made with a young audience in mind. Watch an episode or two and see if you like it.

Well it does have someone on the show who is a lesbian(not sure if your parents are against gays or anything). And there is a girl who gets involved with a Teacher. It does have some sex scenes and a bit of cursing.

Aside from that nothing too bad.

It wouldn't hurt to ask your parents though.

Pretty Little Liars is okay. I'm only 15 and I watch it. You're parents should be fine with it.

I'm a 14 year old guy. I love it. No Homo. But I love it. But if you are allowed to watch Glee then you should be fine.

I think they should be fine as long as they don't mind mild sexual scenes and some cursing.

Okay so I'm 13 turning 14 next November and I've been watching pretty little lairs on Netflix on my phone without my parents knowing. I'm really scared they might think it's too old for me even though I'm allowed to watch things like glee and friends. So is pretty little lairs something I shouldn't tell my parents about?!
