Check out Bill Hicks, but he died in the 90s. He's better than George in my opinion. But I love them both. There aren't any modern comedians with the same intellect as George and Bill.

Check out Lee Camp. He was influenced by intensely great men like Carlin, Bill Hicks (one of the best ever!) and Lenny Bruce. Lee Camp has a great style with quick, sharp, clever wit. I'm positive you won't be disappointed. And fortunately you can still enjoy him live.
