I saw that Newsnight program, and all I could think about was,
where can I get one. I think there was an element of scare mongering
going on.

Annoying people have been around forever, people will spy one way or another.
yes I'll get one, I'd like to check out that my neighbours haven't rented their sheds out illegally. When I get the evidence, I'll shop them.
its really scary
i saw this recently on the newsnight show, about drones that can fly, that have highly advanced cameras in them that agencies like the police use, steered by remote control....but one guest was saying that there are even flying drones now that people can buy...ordinary people, from sites like amazon for over 200 pounds....drones that have cameras attached and can fly..............and people could use these drones to spy through someones curtains, kitchen windows etc.
and there is no regulatory law outlawing this, that anyone can potentially get these drones from amazon ?
and the guests were discussing the major privacy violations that could occur in these situations.
one of the guest said '' i wouldnt want to be filmed by a drone while i was having a picnic with my family ''
