I personally loved the series and the story lines and the flashbacks to their lives before the plane crash in the first episode. It's a little bit different from most TV, but that's what's so great about it. You really get to know many of the characters and their lives before the plane crash in the first episode.
I often have a problem with learning the names and who everyone is with such a large cast, but LOST does it in a way that it works. I would absolutely suggest you check it out :)
I liked the first season or two, maybe the third? Up until some stupid time warp or something.
It got really annoying. Everyone has their own opinion though. Definitely, the first season or 2 had its moments. It's new, it's fascinating. But to me, the series ended because it felt like they just purposely dragged it out too long
I liked Supernatural, Heroes. Those were some of my favorites. I don't have access to netflix anymore since I moved out of the US, but if there's Agents of SHIELD then that's pretty awesome if you like the Avengers films. They tie in directly to the films.

It's pretty good if you like survival stories with plenty of action and drama. It's one of the seminal series of the past decade.
Watch Sherlock! Or Breaking Bad. Or House of Cards. Lost was good at some point then it got annoying and the final few seasons will just fry your brain. I would not recommend it. It pissed me off!
I might watch it on netflix is it worth it?
