A more interesting take would be about those who become voluntarily homeless. These people tend to hold contempt for society in some way. Bizzy bone from bone thugs just wanted to be around real people, sick of being exploited for the financial gain of others so became voluntarily homeless for over 7 months, or Ben Hana aka blanket man from wellington NZ who wanted to live life this way for his own reasons..

Usually with homeless people it just about going up to them... It can be difficult sometimes as they will sometimes want money or thing from you, you have to be careful as they can be drunk or on drugs which can make them passive at the start of your interview but hostile at the end.
