Look, this does not seem like the show you would usually go for, but give it a try, you may end up discovering a whole new genre of TV. Personally, I recommend Doctor Who. It has a ton of action, mystery and suspense combined with comedy, romance, sadness, and science fiction. If you do end up watching it, start with Season 3, Episode 10 to get you hooked, then go back to Season 1, Episode 1 and watch it from there.
Before you blow it off because you may not like science fiction, just give it a try. I promise you will like it after watching Season 3, Episode 10 (Titled "Blink").

Bates Motel, is a good show, i don think it like those but it is very interesting, and they just finished season two on Monday. if you are going to watch it i would say, start from season one because it is a story line that builds up, but its really good!
