Game of Thrones Death?

some faiths in reality have a practice of placing Coins over the eyes of the dead... which may or may not originate with the Greek Figure of Charon

-- in any case It was certainly in practice in England during the 1400s, during which the Wars of the Roses Occurred... and are what GRRM borrowed elements from for the Books

aside from the Greek origins, one use of coins over the eyes would also be to weigh down the eyelids, preventing them from opening due to the effects of decomposition

as to why he Modified this to stones with Eyes painted on them, that would be his reasoning, and he likely does explain the practice in the books

I believe it's because they consider it bad luck to look into the eyes of a dead person, so the stones are used as a mask. There's very little mention of it in the books and even less in the show though, it's just a funeral tradition every culture has them and they're not always rational or explainable.

There may be other sites too for watching movies, TV shows and Anime and all but I trust http://uwatchfreemovies.com/ as I have my own experience linked with it. Even though I can easily watch movies in my tablet and cell phone too while travelling. Its basically 1 time survey and a joy for ever.

It's traditional for some of the religions in Westeros..

Does anyone know why...on the Game of Thrones they put what appears to be rocks over a dead persons eyes? And the rocks usually have eyes drawn on them. I tried to google it and found nothing.
