Firstly, I never liked Ridge and I think Ron Moss was a horrible actor. He strutted like a skinny rooster and had no emotion at all and when he acted angry, it was downright hilarious. I would seriously say he is the worst actor I've ever seen.
The new guy .. my first instinct was that he's ugly and has a weird accent. I don't know if he's covering a British accent or not.. but there's really something odd about the way he talks.
However, he at least can act. He shows actual emotion and delivers his lines appropriately.
So do I like him, yes and no.
Do I like him better than the old Ridge ... YES!
Well I like this guy compare to Ronn Moss.
The only thing I don't like about this new guy is tht his voice is so grated that it gets on my nerves because half of the time I can't understand him. I don't think he sound British tho.
He could do with a better hair cut also.

I like Ron Moss better.. this new one is just not fitting the role. I could never see him with Brooke, but I do like him with Katie, and Brooke with Bill. I know he is younger than RM, but he looks older, he might look better with out the facial hair and the long unkempt hair, JS

First, I already 'get' that whenever soap operas bring on a new actor for a significant character, it's always the same -- they never have them lovey-dovey with their flame right away; people just aren't used to that yet. So they either cause a bunch of ruckus or find a new beau, something that the latest Ridge is doing well with both.
Anyway, Ron Moss spoke American English; this new guy speaks with a definite British accident. WHY? And how much more are the writers going to have us despising the new one? I swear, I've watched this show from the beginning, and I just don't find as much pleasure in it now, with him being so phony.
I couldn't stand the first Ridge (character, that is -- Ron Moss was fine), because he was arrogant, judgmental, and flighty between women. But this one makes the first one seem tame!
When do you think the writers will have him calm down?
