I agree with you. For me the reasons for quality programming
dropping off was because of the influences of "reality" tv.
I hardly ever tun on my TV anymore. Vikings, Big Bang Theory,
and the morning news is the only 3 things I watch now.
I think that you're spoiled by not watching them in real time.
All you've seen of those eras is the cream skinned off the top, rather than the crap which didn't last a season.
Most of them stopped being funny in the 60s. So I watch old ones.

For me it is, Comedy Show Aren't funny like it was back in the 80's,90's or 00's. What do u Think
