My husband watches it all the time. You can tell it's scripted. And the way the guy in charge always seems to know what's in each container and gently guides the new owner towards the jackpot ("what do you think is behind that sheet?") means that it's definitely set up.

It's all scripted, especially the storage show where they try and fight each over a few duffle bags. Who in their right minds fight over a container any way!

I've never really watched these shows enough to start to think about this, but I do sometimes watch an episode and think that some of the things that happen wouldn't normally happen. For example, I saw a brief part of Lizard Lick where someone tried to shoot them as they towed his car/truck away, which doesn't seem like a normal reaction.

I used to believe Storage Hunters for a short time, when it started, but all it takes is a little common sense to realize that it is totally fake, scripted acted and set up in every way. I still watch it occasionally as it is still better than some of the crap that is on TV now a days, but I just want to know, do any Brits believe this show is real?

Because some of my friends do, and will militantly argue about it. I don't mean to be rude, but if you do believe this show, you are a stupid brain dead bell end. Same goes for Lizard Lick and anything else on TruTV.
