This was not inconsequential, but terrorism is cheap. It doesn’t require huge numbers of people, elaborate infrastructure, or great technical skill. That is its advantage over the weapons and defenses of a modern, sophisticated state.
bin Laden did have veto power over the target sets. For example he nixed the original plan to just attack CIA headquarters as not big enough, then another plan to hijack 10 airliners on both coasts as too complicated. He also approved the final target set.

A decade + after the murders & destruction of 9-11, and people are still posing these goofy questions. You should ask yourself why you find it easier to believe all the off-the-wall conspiracy theories (Emphasis on the word "theories".) that have grown up around 9-11 than it is the plain, simple, known truth about who was responsible for the planning, financing, and carrying out of those terrorist acts?
Bin Laden and his ilk not only admitted their responsibility for the events, they actually boasted about it. Where is the conspiracy? Where is the doubt?

Ultimately the vaguely described middle east terrorists claimed responsibilityy and alqeida or however you spell it did as well. the alqueida terrorists trained to be pilots in this country down in florida! yes an aviation business accepted their cash for aviation training and helped prepare the known terrorists for this mission. it didnt dawn on the aviation program director that several guys with little english speaking skills and lotsa cash at the same time desired to obtain pilot licenses! so the florida based aviation program trained all of the men to be pilots and the terrorists commandeered the jet planes right into the twin tower bldgs.... and if you watch the movie farenheit 911 youll see micheal moores exposure of the whitehouse and DC showing how the relatives of bin laden ( oil sheiks) were flown/escorted out of the country through international airspace during a time when pres bush ordered the suspension/shut down of all airspace goverened by the FAA. it was interesting to see how our airspace was shut down and the middle easterners who were living in guest quarters guarded by capital police were allowed to leave freely and not be questioned etc... micheal moores movie really raised a lot of eye brows... check it out.... and yes bin laden sure did have direct involvement in 9/11

To be honest. Only a hand full of people really know the answer to this. It is funny how people say Yeah he did. They really have no idea. They are just parroting the government or the news. Just because the government or the media says something does not mean it is true. When people finally realize this we might actually have a chance.
