Yes, and all large disasters. We had a hurricane a few months ago and truckloads of JWs from all over this island came and helped. First by getting rid of debris, then later, other groups came to give encouragement.

Of course, they did--hundreds stayed, until all the houses were rebuilt and of course, they gave food and all of their attention, not just to the JW's either.
Our area recently had a hurricane and the brothers came, and cut down trees, and even carried them off--two different groups and I didn't even call them to come!
Now, please don't say we had to pay--they would not even drink any tea we offered, they came and GAVE US drinks!
From the 2011 annual meeting report.
"Following the tsunami disaster in Japan some 1,700 Japanese brothers and sisters volunteered to help those Witnesses affected by the disaster."
You helped only Witnesses? How sad. What about the thousands and thousands of other people that were displaced and needed help?!
I imagine it is probably the same with all of your disaster relief. Also, I'd say they are definitely interested in money. Even Witnesses don't get help with relief or rebuilding unless they sign over their insurance claims and any money they receive to pay back the Watchtower society. How loving and charitable!
I'm sure that some did.
I have never once heard anyone claim that JWs are only interested in money.
Yes....Watch the report of how Jehovah’s Witnesses cared for fellow worshippers and other victims in the wake of a devastating storm.

The main purpose to any cult is to build an empire. That means power. There is no provision made by the organisation to help disasters as such however they do attend events to prey on vulnerable people. People who have had devastation in their lives, lost family and need somewhere to belong.
who knows, I answered the door with no pants on and never seen them again,
Some insist that JWs are only interested in money, which is interesting since they don't charge for their literature But do they help during disasters?
