Lol. We've brought this up before. The park is the place for Salemites to spill secrets! It wouldn't be very prudent for them to bug the park because then the denizens would start telling their secrets somewhere else... Like the town square!
Yeah right, the Keystone cops who trip over their own feet let alone find a piece of evidence lying in the same park. And they're all related anyway. Ewww.
I doubt it would do any good since the police themselves are there all the time and still cant seem to figure out what is going on in town

idea ....for the police department to put a listening device in the bush's in the damn park where everyone congregates? a lot of action takes place there, just today 5/6/14 Nicole sat on the bench and was having a conversation OUT LOUD with herself, a lot of lurking and sneaking around in that park.
