I don't know (but suspect it may be fixed) but I always feel really sorry for the owners of the shops that get 'hit'. I bet they cringe when they see the film crew approaching, unless it is all fixed or perhaps the publicity for the shops is worth it?

I am really disappoitnd with programmes of late, it is so obviously that all are fixed for the viewers. But I agree Veralum 2 if I were the shop owner I would not want the publicity if I had to give profit away like that. Cos how many people will actually make a beeline for your shop afterwards, and if they did then they would all think they can get such bargains :(

but this one is just too unbelievable

I like the programme, but it is a little ridiculous when they go to any town in the UK, and walk into an antique shop and say "Oh I like that, but it has a price of ￡200, would you take ￡30", and the shop owner says yes!! Who would do that, if you or I walked in and asked the same question.

I know its a tv programme, but its just too far fetched.

Tonight Anita bought 4 gold rings ￡30!!!!! Then made a killing selling them for ovr ￡100 what a surprise. Who and where could you buy 4 secondhand gold rings for ￡30??
