You do understand there is a difference in the 2. The bombs had to be dropped. It was either that or an invasion of the Japanese homeland. An invasion would not only be extremely difficult but result in many casualties. Plus the Japanese are a warrior culture. They believe that everybody was inferior. Our options to end the war were very limited. 9/11 was an attack. There was not any strategic value to 9/11. Just an attack. The bombs were meant to make the Japanese people surrender and instill fear into them.
Thousands do die everyday but when thousands die in just one place alone it is something different.
What you should really be asking is why do we send aid to countries that we fight against or that hate us. Doesn't make sense. We need to become an isolationist nation again and get our **** straight.
I live in America and idc . The people in America aren't bad people , it's are goverment that manipulate the people and trick them and ruin are country . George bush knew about the the terrorist attacks before it happend and didn't tell anyone . People are just tired of the goverment hideing everything

Why are Americans so upset about the 9/11 attacks? only a few thousand died.
Thousands die EVERY day.
Plus, when America drop the nukes on Japan millions died. but when a few thousand die in a terrorist attack they think its the worst thing to happen in history.
